I was born and raised here in Ogden Valley and have loved art since I was a small child at Valley Elementary. I graduated from Colorado College in May 2023 where I majored in biology and minored in studio art. My art education provided me with many invaluable skills and I was introduced to so many cool mediums and techniques. Some of my favorites include print making (especially copper plate etching), making paper from foraged plant fibers, charcoal, and watercolor. I am inspired by the beautiful plants and animals that we are so lucky to be surrounded by here in Ogden Valley. Many of my prints are done on paper that I handmade using aspen bark that I sustainably foraged in the mountains of Colorado during my studies.

I now work as a ski patroller at Powder Mountain in the winter and sell my art and train horses in the summer. I have recently started a small business called GingerMitts doing custom pen drawings on ski mittens/gloves. I have absolutely loved seeing people wearing my art all over the Utah ski resorts!  Finding ways to combine my art with my love for skiing and the mountains has been absolutely magical. I completed my first painted mural in Feb 2024 up at Powder Mountain. It is located on the outside of the building that houses the resort’s avalanche mitigation explosives and depicts a moose head with bombs hanging out of his antlers.

I am always looking to further my art education and skills, which recently have included learning pottery and hand embroidery!
