FIBER DYEING WITH DYER'S WOAD WORKSHOP

Yup, Dyer's woad, the invasive plant with pretty yellow flowers was brought to this area by the early settlers to be used for dyeing fabric.  The leaves contain precursors to indigo and can be used to dye fabrics a beautiful BLUE color.  The process is fun and you will go home with beautifully dyed fibers, fabrics or yarn!
