Description

Learn the basics of doing art in this non-intimidating, beginners class. There are 4 classes that cover the basics of drawing, color theory, water color painting, acrylic painting and pastel painting. These classes will expose you to different mediums and how to get started with each and will allow you to explore the mediums on your own and allow you to more confidently enroll in other more advanced classes where you will gain more skills. You will be exposed to different instructors each who will have a different approach to beginning art. 1st Saturday of the month; Sept-December; 2-4 pm Sept 5 session: Introduction to drawing; October 3: Color Theory (mixing and matching colors; Nov 7: watercolor basics; Dec 5: Acrylic painting and using pastels. $25/individual session or $80 for all 4 sessions
