Dyer's Woad Workshop 1- April 18

Description

Hands on workshop to process dyer's woad plants to beautiful blue dye to use on fabrics or fibers. FUN, Magical! We take the leaves, process them into a vat of dye into which we can dye fabric (loose, organic cotton, linen, silk), fibers (spun yarn, raw wool or silk natural fibers) and watch the blue color appear! kids 10 and up are welcome and can help with the processing and share a dying vat of an adult. You bring the fiber/item to be dyed. We provide all supplies. $35/adult, $15 age 10-18 yr. 3 hours, all supplies provided. Saturday April 18 10 am-1pm
